Seemanová confirmed her form already in the morning portion of the program, when she found no rival in the heats of the 200 meters freestyle. In the evening she also managed the semifinal and secured her participation in the race for medals. The Czech team will thus have final representation in this discipline. sport.cz ↗

Further attention at the championship will focus on Seemanová's final, who after victories in the heats and semifinal will enter the decisive race from a very strong position. Čejka's result at the same time showed that the Czech swimmer was very close to a European medal, but in Paris he was missing 48 hundredths of a second to achieve it. isport.cz ↗
