France and Saudi Arabia signed a memorandum of understanding on Monday intended to pave the way for a large entertainment complex near Paris. According to available information, one of the parks could focus on the world of manga and Japanese anime. The project also follows earlier talks on reviving an unsuccessful park near Paris, in which Saudi investors had shown interest.

Macron presented the plan as a project comparable in scale to the largest entertainment attractions in France. According to his estimate, the construction and operation of the parks could create approximately 22,000 direct jobs.
