Fico rejects conclusions for the 2027 parliamentary elections after the vote

Prime Minister Robert Fico said after Saturday's combined local and regional elections that their results did not change Slovakia's political map. At the same time, he rejected the idea that serious conclusions about the parliamentary elections planned for 2027 could be drawn from the vote. SITA ↗

Fico congratulated the elected candidates and expressed the wish that the government's cooperation with local governments would continue. He expects that all political parties will interpret the results as a success.
