On road II/499 at the entrance to Piešťany from the village of Trebatice, a bus collided with three passenger vehicles on Monday shortly before 9:00 a.m. Seven people were injured in the accident, with sixteen people involved in total. Firefighters from Piešťany and Hlohovec used hydraulic equipment to free two people trapped in one of the vehicles; paramedics transported one injured person to hospital by helicopter. Five ambulances, a rescue helicopter and three pieces of firefighting equipment responded at the scene. TA3 ↗
