Based on how the match unfolded, Slavia had the game under control, but they failed to convert their considerable goalscoring superiority into a bigger margin. Zlín thus gave the favorites a tough time, even though they remained pointless. Ayaosi's performance was praised by both his teammates and the coaching staff, and he received recognition for his strike.
Recovered national team players returned to Slavia's lineup after health problems. Their comeback was one of the notable moments of the match. The Prague side are also continuing their preparations for their upcoming schedule, which includes the Champions League as well. isport.cz ↗
Attention after the match was drawn to a situation from the start of the game, when Lukáš Provod fell after a duel with Cletus Nombi near the edge of the penalty area. Referee Marek Radina initially awarded a penalty, but after reviewing the video footage, he reversed the decision. Replays showed that it was a close duel and it was not clear whether the contact occurred inside the box. idnes.cz ↗
