The new project builds on fans' interest in the Bridgerton family's past and will present the couple's relationship in the period before the events of the well-known stories. The central theme will be the beginning of their relationship and the circumstances that shaped their shared life. denik.cz ↗
Violet is one of the prominent characters in the Bridgerton series world. However, the upcoming prequel will shift attention to the period of her youth, when her history with Edmund was only just beginning to be written. The series will thus expand the family's story with a new storyline focused on the parents of the Bridgerton siblings.
Netflix has not yet revealed further details about the cast, creators, number of episodes, or premiere date. It is therefore not known when filming will begin or when the new series will become available to viewers.
The ordering of the prequel confirms the streaming platform's continuing interest in expanding the Bridgerton world. The story of Violet and Edmund is meant to offer a look at the relationship that preceded the events depicted in the original series.
