Attention after the match also focused on Matěj Jurásek. The former Slavia player started among the substitutes and played just over a quarter of an hour in the Sparta jersey including added time. Part of the fans accompanied his appearance with whistling and insults, and after the final whistle the emotions spilled over beyond the match itself. Jurásek nevertheless participated in the offensive play and got into a scoring opportunity. sport.cz ↗
Coach Brian Priske spoke after the match about the player's difficult situation and reminded that a loan always represents a risk. Sparta was also able to enjoy the sporting side of the high victory, in which Brunes, Mercado and Alcócer also appeared. Teplice scored with a goal from an experienced player who has played for Sparta in the past and admitted after the match that controlling emotions against a former club is difficult. idnes.cz ↗
The victory gives Sparta room to calm the situation after previous setbacks. Further developments will show whether Jurásek manages to gain the support of the stands primarily through his performances on the pitch. idnes.cz ↗
