Marek Ztracený performed at Prague's Letná Plain on Friday evening in front of more than 70,000 visitors. The venue on the plain opposite Sparta's stadium was built over several weeks, and part of the fans had been waiting for the gates to open since Friday noon. People arrived in Prague from various parts of the country and from abroad. Police had previously warned drivers against parking in the city center, and fans were also transported to the concert by tram line 44. irozhlas.cz ↗
The program was accompanied by an extensive visual show. During the performance, Ztracený also used the effect of flying with a piano above the audience and invited his son onto the stage. The originally planned finale with a large fireworks display did not take place, but according to available information the concert continued as a major music and light show. Some reports mention a slower start and minor hiccups, but the main part of the evening was marked by the packed Letná Plain. IREPORT ↗
The concert at Letná thus represents a significant milestone for Ztracený in his career and in the history of Czech popular music. After two years of preparation and several weeks of construction of the venue, the event ranked among the biggest domestic music events of recent years. idnes.cz ↗
