O2 launches youth plan with 100 GB of data and Netflix

O2 Slovakia adjusted its offer for pupils, students, and teachers from September 1 and started selling a new Maxx plan. The tariff costs 20 euros a month, includes 100 GB of data, and according to the published information also includes Netflix in the price. zive.sk ↗

The new offer is coming to the Slovak mobile market after a change in the partnership around the ISIC card. The ISIC operator is ending its long-standing cooperation with Orange, and O2 is gaining a partner that had been associated for years with a competing operator. Alongside the Maxx plan, O2 is also adding discounts on its standard tariffs, with the offer aimed primarily at young customers and people working in education. mojandroid.sk ↗

The change also affects Orange, which is definitively ending its long-term cooperation with the ISIC operator. At the same time, the operator is simplifying the terms of its youth plans and expanding the availability of the 20-euro tariff with 100 GB of data for additional customers. zive.sk ↗

The competition between operators for young customers is thus shifting at the start of the school year mainly toward data-heavy tariffs and additional services. With its new offer, O2 is trying to attract users through a combination of a large data package, a monthly price of 20 euros, and a streaming service, while Orange responds by adjusting its own terms for young people.
