Limits of This Perspective
This overview is based on what appeared over less than ten hours in the RSS feeds of tier-1 and tier-2 media outlets from thirty-seven countries — that is, 3,323 headlines, not the entire news output. Anything a media outlet does not put into RSS or hides behind a paywall will not reach this overview. Smaller desks are therefore thinner for technical, not editorial, reasons: in this window, a single article was added from Moldova, and three from Malta. Each bullet always says what the given newsroom wrote, not what is a verified fact. This is doubly true for reports on war and sanctions topics — figures on casualties, damage, and strikes come from the parties to the conflict or from the authorities representing them, and are generally not independently verified.
