Los Angeles was also active on other signings. The club acquired Norwegian forward Mats Zuccarello, who signed a one-year contract with a base salary of one million dollars. Thanks to performance bonuses, he can earn an additional $5.5 million. Thirty-eight-year-old Zuccarello played 59 regular-season games for the Minnesota Wild last season, collecting 54 points on 15 goals and 39 assists. Czech forward Jan Jeník will also continue with the Kings organization, having signed a one-year two-way contract. teraz.sk ↗

Changes have also affected the Detroit Red Wings. The team will be strengthened by Swedish winger Viktor Arvidsson, who spent the previous two seasons in Edmonton. The thirty-three-year-old forward earned $4 million annually there and became a free agent on July 1 after his contract expired. sport.sk ↗

The signings reflect continued movement in the free agent market following the opening of the transfer period. Los Angeles is adding experience to its attack, while Detroit is gaining a player with recent experience from Edmonton. sport.cz - fotbal ↗
