Meloni calls for a joint EU negotiator for Ukraine

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni urged European Council President António Costa to have the European Union decide in December on appointing a joint negotiator for Ukraine. Meloni criticized the EU's current approach as uncoordinated. According to her, individual initiatives follow one after another without sufficient agreement, which could undermine the Union's credibility.
