Jeremy Clarkson, former host of Top Gear and The Grand Tour, has announced that doctors diagnosed him with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. He spoke about the diagnosis in the last two episodes of the fifth season of Clarkson's Farm, where he described his health problems on camera. idnes.cz ↗
According to available information, the disease is at an early stage. Clarkson, who is 66 years old, linked the news to his current television project, in which he follows the running of a farm and the everyday problems associated with farming. This show has in recent years become his main television activity since leaving motoring formats. RTE News ↗
The diagnosis emerged at a time when Clarkson is still strongly associated with Top Gear, the show that brought him international popularity. He later also appeared on The Grand Tour. In his more recent work, he has moved from the world of cars to the farming series broadcast on the Amazon Prime platform. Der Standard ↗
Further developments will depend on the treatment and the course of the illness. The disclosure of the diagnosis has also drawn attention to the other episodes of Clarkson's Farm, in which the host speaks about his health condition directly as part of the show's storyline. novinky.cz ↗
