The bill envisages higher spending on healthcare and education. At the same time, however, it contains measures and budgetary priorities that, according to the published assessment, may not suit all groups of the population. The specific impacts of individual parts of the proposal will depend on the parliamentary debate. Index.hu ↗

In the preamble, the government speaks of a fair distribution of the tax burden. The proposal also refers to the period of recent years, which it describes as problematic in terms of fairness and public finances. The Ministry of Finance attached a detailed justification of the budget as an annex. Telex ↗

With the submission of the bill, the parliamentary process has begun. Members of parliament will now examine the individual chapters and planned expenditures, including funds earmarked for healthcare and education. The further course will depend on the parliamentary debate and any changes that may be incorporated into the bill during discussion.
