After their reunion tour, CSI's Ferretti and Zamboni will release a live album and a reissue on the same day
The Italian Consorzio Suonatori Indipendenti, known as CSI, returned to the stage after twenty-five years. The reunion tour ended on September 12 at Villa Bellini in Catania. Singer Giovanni Lindo Ferretti and guitarist Massimo Zamboni, however, are immediately returning to their own projects: on October 9, each of them will release an album. Ferretti will release the double album Percuotendo, in cadenza, a recording of his theatrical performance. It grew out of a show at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza and expanded into a tour full of storytelling and songs, on which he was accompanied by Simone Beneventi and Luca Alfonso Rossi. Zamboni is bringing out a new edition of the album La macchia mongolica with new cover art, reworked graphics, and an added track, Forme perfette. Cristiano Roversi and Simone Beneventi played with him on the recording. Both albums will be released on CD, LP, and digitally, and the artists will present them together on October 9 at 6 p.m. at the Salone dei Giganti in Palazzo Bentivoglio in Gualtieri near Reggio Emilia. Admission is free, but reservation is required. OndaRock ↗
