Patrik Malý releases single Rychlej rok. He'll perform at Prague's Rock Café on Wednesday
Patrik Malý, who collaborated with Sebastian Navrátil on the singles ALMA, Tempo and 2005, has released the solo track Rychlej rok. It's a statement about an era in which everything happens at an accelerated pace. Blesk ↗
“Everything’s fast, we meet fast, we break up fast, we work way too much and there’s huge pressure on everything. We go up, we burn out and then we drop to the complete opposite pole and we’re down,” Malý says of what led him to the song. He says he is trying to find his own tempo in it: “Sometimes it’s fast, sometimes slow, sometimes I get lost in it and look for myself again.” Blesk ↗
Ronald Janeček handled the production and mix of the track. Blesk ↗
Malý could play it live as early as Wednesday, November 4, at 7:00 p.m. at Prague's Rock Café. The club is billing the concert as his biggest headline show to date. Malý will come there with a band and guests, play a cross-section of his entire body of work so far, and also celebrate a milestone birthday. According to the announcement, he last played a Prague club two years ago. Rock Café ↗
