Namíbia, dlhý tvar Namíbijská republika, je štát v juhozápadnej Afrike. Má rozlohu 824 292 km² a 3 milióny obyvateľov, čo predstavuje najmenšiu hustotu zaľudnenia v Afrike. Namíbia získala v roku 1990 ako jedna z posledných afrických krajín nezávislosť od Juhoafrickej republiky, ktorá ju pod názvom Juhozápadná Afrika prechodne spravovala.
