The Pentagon announced on Wednesday the relocation of the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln from the Persian Gulf to the Indian Ocean. At the same time, the US Navy is tracking USS Tripoli, an amphibious assault ship carrying Marine units, which was spotted by satellites near Singapore and is heading to the region. At the same time, NATO confirmed the deployment of another Patriot air defense battery at the Turkish Incirlik base in southern Turkey. The reason is Iranian ballistic missiles and drones aimed at the Gulf states that fly through Turkish airspace.
