Chuck Brown, who died in 2012, is recognized as the founding force of the entire genre and was known in D.C. as the Godfather of Go-Go. Chuck Brown and Rare Essence have now been added, and Trouble Funk, who had been there for years without a single song, also got lyrics: Bustin' Loose, Chuck Baby and Run Joe by Brown, Overnight Scenario, Work the Walls and Pieces of Me by Rare Essence, and Drop the Bomb along with Pump Me Up by Trouble Funk.
