Borussia Dortmund has acquired Ethan Nwaneri from Arsenal FC on a one-year loan. The Bundesliga club responded this way to the injury of Giannis Konstantelias, who is expected to be sidelined for several months according to available information. teraz.sk ↗
Dortmund found a replacement shortly after the extent of Konstantelias's health problems became apparent. Nwaneri's arrival is therefore meant to address the immediate need in the squad following the loss of the new player. The club opted for the young footballer from Arsenal through a temporary transfer, not a permanent one. Der Standard ↗
Nwaneri arrives in the German Bundesliga during a period when the transfer window was also marked by interest in young talents. In his case, it is a move from an English club to Dortmund, which will utilize him for one season. Available information does not provide further details about financial conditions or a possible option for a permanent transfer.
The coming months will show what role Nwaneri will get at Dortmund and to what extent he will be able to fill the gap left by the injured Konstantelias. For the club, the most important thing is that following the unexpected loss, it found a quick solution within the transfer window.
