On Saturday, Bayern Munich chose an unusually dramatic path to another league win. In the match on Mainz's pitch, the Bavarian giant trailed by three goals, but ultimately won 4:3. English striker Harry Kane decided the score as a substitute, and with his goal he corrected a bad situation for Bayern from the first half. Bayern could afford such a dramatic course of the match because, already last week, four rounds before the end of the season, it had secured its 35th title in the club's history. SITA ↗ sport.sk ↗
Bayern coach Henrik Pedersen drew attention to his team's first-half performance, which he described as a total collapse. According to his analysis, it was key that the team maintained momentum and did not succumb to the psychological pressure caused by the change in score. Player Leon Goretzka confirmed that the team's ability to fight and come back into the match represents his mentality and footballing quality. eurofotbal.cz ↗
