Erik Fleming sentenced to two years in prison for supplying ketamine to Matthew Perry

Los Angeles – Former addiction treatment counselor Erik Fleming was sentenced to two years in prison for his role in the death of actor Matthew Perry. Fleming pleaded guilty on the grounds that, in the weeks before Perry's death in 2023, he procured more than fifty doses of ketamine, which he himself supplied to the actor. Fleming acted as a middleman between a known drug distributor known as the "Ketamine Queen" and Perry's personal assistant, who administered the injections. Judge Sherilyn Peace Garnett handed down the ruling in Los Angeles. Fleming faced two counts of distribution and conspiracy, which were slightly reduced thanks to his guilty plea and active cooperation with investigators. The case marks another chapter in the broader investigation related to Perry's death in 2023. Along with Fleming, five people were prosecuted in connection with the distribution of ketamine to the actor. The extensive drug network that supplied Perry included several individuals playing various roles. However, the investigation continues to identify all parties involved and their legal consequences. The case highlights the recurring misuse of a medicinal narcotic that has legitimate medical uses. svet.sme.sk ↗ Le Monde ↗
