Bratislava faces traffic restrictions on Sunday, April 19, due to the National Devín - Bratislava Run. The running event will require several restrictions, especially in Devín, Karlova Ves and the wider center of the capital, as reported by the Bratislava regional police. teraz.sk ↗ pluska.sk ↗
From 7:30, the section between the Nový most (New Bridge) and Šafárikovo námestie will be closed. Drivers heading from Pribinova Street and Dostojevského rad will be diverted via Bezručova Street. Runners will thus pass through key traffic arteries next to the Danube and in the wider city center, where a large volume of cars normally moves.
Residents of Bratislava and visitors to the city should expect extended travel times and should avoid the affected areas unless their journey is necessary. The traffic restrictions will be in effect for the duration of the event, which begins in the morning on Sunday. The Bratislava regional police is urging drivers to change their routes and return to normal mode only after the running event has ended. pravda.sk ↗
