Michał Wójcik, a member of parliament for Poland's Law and Justice (PiS) party, performed on a stage in front of the Constitutional Tribunal, where he also sang the song "Jak minął dzień" by Krzysztof Krawczyk. A recording of the singing performance subsequently began circulating online. Wójcik explained his actions, with attention also drawn to the choice of song itself. The event took place during a gathering in front of the headquarters of the Polish Constitutional Tribunal.

Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek faced questions in the Sejm concerning Wójcik's performance. In connection with the PiS MP, he also spoke of a proposal he described as a step in the right direction. Further details of the proposal were not given. Onet Wiadomosci ↗

PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński also announced the creation of a special parliamentary team that will address the events in front of the Constitutional Tribunal. According to him, the party wants to involve other participants as well and gather information about the course of the events. Onet Wiadomosci ↗

Kaczyński claims that serious criminal activity may have occurred in connection with the events. There is as yet no further information on how the team will function going forward, its composition, or specific steps. PiS's political response may thus lead to further scrutiny of the events surrounding Wójcik's performance.
