The house in the New York borough of Queens, where US President Donald Trump spent his childhood, has been sold for nearly two million dollars after extensive renovation. The property, which had previously been in a neglected state, is now set to serve as a modern residence. tnlive.sk (Markíza) ↗
Before the sale, the house contained a large amount of mold and stray cats roamed through it. The condition of the property therefore differed significantly from its current appearance. The renovation transformed the building into refined living space and increased its value on the real estate market.
The house became well known mainly because of its connection to Donald Trump, who spent part of his childhood there. Its location in Queens also harks back to the period before Trump's entry into top-level American politics and before his time in the White House.
The sale for nearly two million dollars shows that a property's historical connection to the president can influence its appeal. The house itself, however, underwent a significant transformation after the renovation, and its new owner obtained modernized housing in one of New York's boroughs. Further use of the property and the identity of the new owner were not specified in more detail. svet.sme.sk ↗
