Party Dozen announce fifth album 21 Bum Salute. First single Euro Stomper is out
The album 21 Bum Salute will come out on November 6 via Grupo and City Slang. With this, Party Dozen have announced the release date of their fifth studio album and simultaneously unveiled the new single Euro Stomper. Saxophonist and vocalist Kirsty Tickle and drummer Jonathan Boulet sound, as usual, loud and chaotic on it. VISIONS ↗
"We're having more fun than ever before," says Tickle. "This album is something like a raised middle finger that you shove into the camera with a smile. We're encouraging you to enjoy it." Whereas in the video for the track Special Unit the duo was still fighting crime, in Euro Stomper they themselves play con artists and sell their dubious "The Dozen Method." VISIONS ↗
Besides Euro Stomper and Special Unit, the single Mad Rooter has also already been released from the upcoming album. "We stripped away the excess," Tickle adds. "On this album we reduced the concept to its absolute essence." The ten-track listing opens with Special Unit and closes with Age Of Fools; the record can be pre-ordered via Bandcamp, among other places. The duo last released an album in 2024, Crime In Australia. VISIONS ↗
On SuperMusic.cz you can find the tracks Scheisse Kunst, Macca the Mutt, and the instrumental Balance.
