The new attacks followed Wednesday's strike on a logistics complex near the village of Tyushevo in the Ryazan region. After that raid, several industrial facilities were on fire, including the Ryazan refinery, and Wildberries evacuated its logistics center. In previous days, sites near St. Petersburg, in Elektrostal in the Moscow region, in Podolsk near Moscow, in Kotovsk, Krasnodar, and Nevinnomyssk were also targeted. lidovky.cz ↗

According to more recent reports, the attacks also continued in the Penza region and Tatarstan. According to available estimates, the Ukrainian raids were said to have knocked out more than 15 percent of Wildberries' warehouse capacity. The company recorded its greatest loss in Elektrostal near Moscow, where a storage area covering 250,000 square meters burned down. teraz.sk ↗

Kyiv claims that military equipment, including drone components and other materiel, flows to Russian soldiers through the Wildberries platform. The attacks are therefore aimed at logistics hubs that, according to Ukraine, support the Russian war effort. The Kremlin stated that it is monitoring the situation and that the company is responding to the developments. denikn.cz ↗

Employees as well as vendors using Wildberries warehouses are feeling the consequences of the strikes. The company has paid out 40 million rubles to the families of victims and to the injured, while reports have also emerged of requests for state assistance and of the search for warehouses in Kazakhstan. Further developments will depend on the continuation of the Ukrainian campaign and the company's ability to restore its distribution capacity. idnes.cz ↗
