What we are still watching

  • The leadership of the environment ministry was settled: Taraba was replaced by Filip Kuffa, by another candidate, or stayed in office.
  • The coalition council settled the fate of the transaction tax: the repeal from 1 January 2027 stands, or it was reconsidered.
  • The interior ministry responded to the purchase of the speeding-detection system through the Soitron contract, and the public procurement office examined the complaint filed by the Stop Corruption Foundation.
  • The government submitted the 2027 budget bill to parliament and it became clear whether it is balanced, as the constitutional fiscal responsibility act requires.
