Ligue 2 je druhá najvyššia francúzska profesionálna futbalová súťaž, ktorá sa hrá pravidelne od roku 1933. Je súčasťou Ligue de Football Professionnel. Hrá ju 20 klubov z Francúzska a Monackého kniežatstva, ktoré odohrajú 38 zápasov. Väčšina sa hrá v piatok a pondelok. Prvé dva kluby postupujú do najvyššej ligovej súťaže Ligue 1, tretí až piaty tím hrá baráž o postup spolu s osemnástym tímom Ligue 1. Poslední dvaja zostupujú do Championnat National, osemnásty tím hrá baráž o udržanie.
