The bout had been talked about for a long time, but its preparation was accompanied by delays and uncertainty. Neither the date nor the venue of the fight was definitively confirmed for a long while. Now it is clear that Fury and Joshua will face each other in the Welsh capital.
The postponement of major boxing fights is not unusual in the history of the sport. In the past, complications with similar bouts have led to exceptionally long waits, and in some cases they were even linked to prison.
