Un'estate italiana is there too — the anthem with which she, together with Edoardo Bennato, put her signature on the 1990 FIFA World Cup in Italy. Since the seventies, Nannini has been one of the most distinctive female voices in Italian rock, and her raspy timbre commands as loyal an audience in Germany as it does at home.
